She was designated by the Company to receive the Army E Navy Ensign on behalf of the Employees for Excellence in War Production. The Ceremony was held in May 1945 After the War in Europe was over but the War with Japan was not ended until August 1945. Ingersoll manufactured cartridge cases for 105mm Howitzers.
