I grew up in West Pullman/Roseland. First,at 11929 Stewart and then 11120 S. Lowe. Went to St.Catherine of Genoa. Both my parents grew up there too,so there's a long history with such great memories.Thanks to all the people that help keep Roseland alive in our hearts!

I was born in Pullman. Lived there until 1969. Went to Pullman Elementary (1965), Curtis( 1966), then Fenger HS(1969). My parents lived there at 113th & Champlain until their house caught fire, and I lost them. I have only good memories and wish I could connect with everyone I grew up with. Those were good times....safe times.

Would anyone know the whereabouts of a good friend. His name is Roger C. Anderson and we go back to the 50's. He was also my best man at my wedding. If anyone has any knowledge of his presence I certainly would appreciate the input.

I, also did not live in Roseland, but visited it all the time to go to the movies, shop @ Gately's People's store etc. I lived in Dolton il & attended St Mary's Parish in Riverdale. I graduated from 8th grade in 1963 & attended Seton H.S. for my freshman & sophomore year, before starting my junior year at a catholic boarding school in clinton Ia. I went to St. John de la Salle grade school in early '60's but we moved to Beverly in '63. My brothers, Ray and Bill, attended Mendell, and my sister, Carolyn attended Longwood. I'm a little young to remember a lot of details, but my grandfather was Wm. Caley who owned Caley Chevrolet.

Carmel, I live in the city too (Beverly), so you are not the only one. I only live about 3 miles west of where we moved from in the old neighborhood. I love the city and it's still a great place to live. Join the forum...it's a great place to remember the past!

Went to St.Catherine of Genoa when Fr.Murphy was pastor.
